Ahead of the Wednesday night EFL Cup game at the Wham Stadium against Premier League Burnley, Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman sends out a rallying call to his players.

Following a surprise home reverse on Saturday against Exeter City, Coleman has told his players about the need to realise the importance of each and every game.

Coleman said," We have got to realise the importance of each game and we have got to seize each and every opportunity.

“I believe, if we play to our best, we can beat Burnley and we will be giving it our best shot.”

Midfielder Scott Brown and striker Terry Gornell will miss the EFL Cup clash against the Burnley with injuries.

Former Clarets' wide man Chris Eagles is battling to be fit to play against his former club. Another ex-Claret Shay McCartan returned to training on Monday.

Burnley gaffer Sean Dyche has a history of rotating his squad for Cup games and I predict the Clarets will line up as follows:

Pope,
Darikwa, Tarkowski, Anderson, Flanagan,
O'neill, Ulvestad,
Kightly, Jutkiewicz, Vokes, Gudmundsson.

The game is being shown live on SKY Sports. (TEC).
