Burnley gaffer Sean Dyche has some big decisions to make ahead of a three o'clock kick-off against Ronald Koeman's Everton side on Saturday 22nd October.

With Steven Defour a major injury doubt following a hamstring problem suffered in the 3-1 reverse at St. Mary's Stadium on Sunday, Burnley manager Sean Dyche may be forced to revert to his favoured 4-4-2 formation.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson a former player of the Everton boss Ronald Koeman whilst with Dutch outfit AK Alkmaar, could be shoed in alongside Sam Vokes to spearhead the Clarets attack.

Dyche is unlikely to risk starting with 18 year old Aussie Aiden O'neill in the possible absence of the injury stricken Belguim international midfielder Steven Defour.

Matty Lowton is vulnerable to change following a poor display at Southampton. On loan England international Jon Flanagan, would no doubt jump at the chance to play against his home club's fiercest local rivals from across Liverpool's Stanley Park.

Chelsea's on loan player Patrick Bamford could also come into the reckoning for a place in Dyche's starting eleven. Bamford is yet to start for the Clarets and in the continued absence of the banned Andre Gray, Bamford may well get his chance.

Assuming Defour misses the game, I predict a Clarets' starting line-up in a 4-4-2 offensive formation of:

Heaton, Flanagan, Keane, Mee, Ward, Hendrick, Marney, Gudmundsson, Vokes, Bamford & Boyd. (TEC).
