The good news is that no matter who wins their replay we'll be playing a team from another division but the bad news is that it is another away draw in the competition.
We are almost treading new ground should we get through. We've never played Peterborough in the FA Cup and our only meeting with West Brom in this competition was as long ago as the first ever Football League season of 1888/89. On that occasion we were beaten 5-1 in the second round.
As for league meetings between the two, it is only last season since we last travelled to the Hawthorns. We lost that one 2-1 after having led through James O'Connor in a game that saw Burnley debuts for both Andrew Cole and Mark Randall who came on as substitutes.
Our last league trip to London Road was in the 1996/97 season and that too ended in defeat. Despite goals from Paul Barnes and Damian Matthew we fell to a 3-2 defeat. There was a debutant on that occasion too, a certain Glen Little came on for Jamie Hoyland.
The fourth round game, should we get through, is expected to be played on Saturday 24th January.
