CLARETS MAD EXCLUSIVE - New date for Rotherham

The game was postponed just over an hour before kick off on Boxing Day just a week ago when referee John Brandwood waited almost a further two hours before calling it off despite the pitch being unfit at 12 noon.

The new date for the game is Tuesday 12th February with a 7:45 p.m. kick off. The date has now been confirmed by the Football League.

It will mean two successive games in South Yorkshire, the previous Saturday we are at Oakwell against Barnsley, and the following Saturday sees us at home against Nottingham Forest subject to neither of us being in the 5th round of the FA Cup.

That still leaves the Bradford City home game to be rescheduled by which time we will hopefully have been told what happened to our undersoil heating system to cause the postponement in the first place.
