Dario G wants Spicer
Just over a year ago he scored twice in a 3-0 win over Crewe, but they were his last goals for the Clarets and he's struggled to get into the side since. In 2006 he started only five games for us, and they were all last season. This season he's made just two substitute appearances in the two home games against Ipswich and RK Sunderland.
With the recent additions to the squad in midfield of Eric Djemba-Djemba and Joey Gudjonsson, it makes Spicer's chances of breaking back into the first team even less likely and this will at least give him a few games over the next month.
Crewe said they needed him for the Johnstone Paints Trophy games as well and Steve Cotterill has agreed to their request and has left it up to the player. John has decided to take the weekend to make up his mind.
