Date set for cup tie
The Burnley lads were able to watch Swindon in action on Tuesday as they demolished Yeovil 4-0 to win through after the Clarets had beaten Luton 2-0 a week earlier, with two Jay Rodriguez goals, to claim their place in this round.
It's been a long time since the Clarets got through to the last eight, possibly as far back as the late seventies when we reached the semi-final before going out to Aston Villa. It will be a tough ask against a Swindon side who have been doing well in their league recently, but if the Clarets can show the sort of form they did in the last round then they are more than capable of going a stage further.
Before the tie, the young Clarets have two other games, a league game against Carlisle followed by a Lancashire FA Youth Cup tie against Bury.
The revised draw for Round Five now reads:
Manchester United v Crystal Palace
Arsenal v Bristol City
Newcastle v Millwall
Sheffield Utd or Aston Villa v Middlesbrough
Liverpool v Reading
Cardiff or Cambridge v RK Sunderland
Swindon v Burnley
Barnsley v Birmingham
