Dyche and Mazzarri go head to head at Turf Moor on Monday.

Sean Dyche's goal shy Burnley will pit their wits against Dyche's former team in the Monday night fixture between the Clarets and the Hornets.

Struggling for goals Burnley will meet Walter Mazzarri's freescoring Watford and are likely to still be without injured striker Ashley Barnes.

More bad news for Dyche is the current form of last season's leading scorer Andre Gray, who has managed just a solitary goal in the new campaign.

It is expected that Burnley gaffer Sean Dyche will try and get his Clarets side on the front foot from the first whistle. Sam Vokes is expected to start alongside Gray.

Dyche is expected to revert to his favoured 4-4-2 formation after the botched attempt to nullify Leicester City with a defensive 4-5-1 set-up last weekend, resulting in a 3-0 thrashing at the King Power Stadium.

Come Monday night Burnley could well find themselves in the Premier League relegation places. All of their rivals at the bottom end of the table will have played by then.

Three points are vital for Dyche's men and would see them go level with Watford with seven points.

Watford captain Troy Deeney who is highly rated by former boss Dyche will however have other ideas.

Sean Dyche is notoriously loyal to his troops but I expect Liverpool loan signing Jon Flanagan to replace the disappointing Matthew Lowton in the right back berth.

Dyche will find it equally difficult to select his midfield engine room. Record signings Steven Defour and Jeff Hendrick are likely to get the nod from Dyche at the expense of Clarets' old stager Dean Marney.

I expect Burnley to line up in a 4-4-2 formation:

Heaton, Flanagan, Keane, Mee, Ward, Gudmundsson, Defour, Hendrick, Boyd, Gray, Vokes. (TEC).
