Gray is now a Charlton player

Gray has passed his medical but by the time everything was complete it was too late for a permanent signing to go through in time for him to play, and so Charlton and Burnley have agreed to an emergency loan. This means he will be able to play tomorrow with the deal being made permanent next week.

He is now expected to make his bow for his new club in front of the Sky Cameras at Vicarage Road when Charlton play Watford tomorrow evening with a 5:20 p.m. kick off. It was in games against those two clubs, Watford and Charlton that he scored what proved to be his last Burnley goals just after the arrival of Owen Coyle as manager.

Meanwhile Burnley had already resigned themselves to playing without Gray after he told the manager he wasn't in the right frame of mind to play at Coventry. That's where our interest will be tomorrow, at the Ricoh Arena, but I'm sure many Burnley fans will be tuning into the Sky game tomorrow evening.
