Eddie has been nominated for the December Manager of the Month along with Tony Mowbray (MIddlesbrough), Sean Dyche (Watford) and Brian McDermott (Reading).
Mowbray has to be the clear favourite. Middlesbrough won 13 points in the month, more than any other club, and this season all the monthly winners have been handed out to the teams with the best record in that month with the winners so far being Gus Poyet (Brighton & Hove Albion), Mowbray, Chris Hughton (Birmingham City) and Malky Mackay (Cardiff City).
It's also usual to see the managers of the top four teams for the month nominated, but December sees a nomination for Dyche despite Watford having the seventh best record.
With 13 points from 5 games, I'd think Mowbray is the clear favourite. Both Burnley and Reading won 12 points, as did Hull City, whilst Watford, despite being unbeaten, picked up only nine points.
Kieran Trippier's performances during December, during which he scored his first Burnley league goal, have seen him win a nomination for the player of the month. The other nominees are Alex Pearce (Reading), Nicky Bailey (MIddlesbrough) and Ricardo Vaz Te (Barnsley).
Previous winners of this award this season have been Marvin Emnes (MIddlesbrough), Matthew Bates (Middlesbrough), Nathaniel Clyne (Crystal Palace) and Billy Sharp (Doncaster Rovers).
The winners will be confirmed tomorrow.
