It was ten years ago today

It was FA Cup 4th Round day although the Clarets were still playing in the 3rd Round. We had drawn 2-2 at home to Derby and then ten days later in the replay benefited from the fog coming down with us 2-0 down at the Baseball Ground.

And so back to the old Derby ground we went only to lose again 2-0 and out of the FA Cup for another season. It's not often we will want to remember defeats, in fact it would have been so much better had we won, but that day ten years ago at Derby will never be forgotten by anyone who was there.
