Jensen takes the points

Brian Jensen
In a disappointing performance the Beast had already made two good saves before he was beaten twice in two minutes, firstly after a poor error let in James Coppinger and then from the penalty spot.

His saves had kept us level for most of the first half and after the break he kept up that form to keep the score down, and that ensured he was the man of the match and also the top of the player ratings.

He polled 41.9% of the vote for the man of the match and that was some distance clear of Martin Paterson in second place with 26.6%. Wade Elliott, playing in a central midfield role, created our goal with a run from his own half and that helped him to third place with 9.6% of the vote.

There was a familiar look to the player ratings. Jensen again led the way comfortably with a rating of 7.83 out of then and that was a full point behind the 6.83 rating for Paterson in second place. Robbie Blake took third place with a rating of 6.17.

That all gives Jensen six points, Paterson four points with one point each for Blake and Elliott. Those points have seen Paterson move ten points clear at the top of the table whilst for Jensen, he's moved above Stephen Jordan into fifth place.
