Burnley's Kevin Long is rumoured to be on the Reds of Barnsley's summer shopping list.
Following a successful loan period at Oakwell and the fact that he is well down Sean Dyche's pecking order, it is entirely possible the Clarets' defender will be leaving Turf Moor for pastures new.

Barnsley caretaker boss Paul Heckingbottom says that the Reds are preparing their transfer targets for the new season for whichever league they may be in.
It is understood the Reds are currently identifying potential new players for next season's campaign. Heckingbottom recently admitted the Yorkshire outfit's last recruitment campaign did not pan out to be as successful as they would have wished for.
A feature which adds extra intrigue into the mix is that Barnsley have made the League One playoffs. A list of targets has been drawn up should they stay in League One.
A separate list is in place iif they manage promotion via the play-offs to the Championship. Caretaker gaffer Heckingbottom hinted that some players would feature on both lists.
Long was highly regarded during his loan spell by the Reds fans, scoring twice in a total of 13 appearances for the Tykes.
Sean Dyche also allowed Kevin to go out on loan to MK Dons late in this season's campaign. The Cork born centre back has just one year left on his Clarets' contract. Burnley may well be looking to cash in on a genuine half a million pounds asset?(TEC)
