Burnley so far without one single addition to their squad, are seeking to strengthen for their return to the Premier League.
The Clarets are understood to have targeted Lee Chung-yong, a £700,000 signing from Bolton Wanderers in January 2015. Lee made just 20 appearances in all competitions for Crystal Palace.
The Korean international has only ever enjoyed a peripheral role at Selhurst Park having fallen out with Alan Pardew in a well publicised spat. He is presently in the US with the Eagles on a pre-season training trip.
It is believed a fee in the region of £1 million pounds will bring the much travelled Korean to Turf Moor. Nicknamed the "Blue Dragon" the 28 year old averages about one goal every ten games.
He was highly regarded during his time with Bolton Wanderers. The player speaks fluent English and could well prove to be a quality signing at a bargain basement price (TEC).
