Central defender Kevin Long has been with Accrington for the first half of the season whilst Joe McKee, a first year professional and member of the development squad, has been in Scotland with St. Mirren.
Whilst McKee has only featured in St. Mirren's first team in two games as a substitute it is a different story for Long who has made 26 appearances for Accrington and scored four goals.
Significantly, Burnley did not give Accrington permission to play him in the FA Cup and so he could join the squad for our game at Norwich on Saturday.
John Coleman wanted to keep him at the Crown Ground for the rest of the season but Burnley will take a closer look at him now he's back in training and Eddie Howe is considering the option of sending him out on loan again.
He said: "Kevin has done really well at Accrington. He has been a really consistent performer for them and scored a few goals as well.
"We will have a look at him and see how he has progressed. We will see how much he has improved and where he's at right now and then perhaps look to get him back out, maybe to League One."
