Stoke game next Tuesday
The game was originally called off on New Year's Day following a downpour during the morning which left the pitch on the Bob Lord Stand side in a dangerous condition, according to referee Russell Booth.
But the two clubs have moved quickly to get a new date, and this is one that will benefit the Clarets given that we've no game a week on Saturday on FA Cup Fourth Round day.
Since the original date there have been some changes to the Burnley squad. Ade Akinbiyi signed on the original date but wouldn't have played, and since then we've added Mike Pollitt and Eric Djemba-Djemba to the squad with the likelihood of one more new signing this week. For Stoke, Tony Pulis is looking to strengthen his squad having lost a number of his loan signings.
The club have said that tickets for the original game will be valid when the game is played next week.
