He celebrated his 21st birthday at the beginning of this month but is still awaiting his first opportunity with the first team. That has been held back because of a series of injuries that include a blood clot on his thigh, a fractured skull and a serious knee injury.
Thankfully he is now fully recovered from all those setbacks and at the beginning of the season signed a loan deal for former Manchester United player Barry Fry at Peterborough where he played three games and scored his first goal at first team level in their 2-1 home defeat against Colchester.
Although not the tallest of strikers at 5ft 10ins he is considered to be a strong player who is good in the air and will certainly offer us an alternative.
He has signed initially for a month with a view to the deal being extended and Clarets Mad would like to offer him a warm welcome to Turf Moor.
