He was an easy winner in the man of the match poll on the site, and he received not far short of 500 votes, or in percentage terms it was 44.8& of the vote. The fight for second place was very close with two players battling swapping places throughout the three days of the poll. In the end Joey Gudjonsson just pipped Robbie Blake to second place.
Joey won 16.9& of the vote whilst Robbie's share was 16.7% and Ade Akinbiyi, whilst not winning any points, also claimed double figures with 11.1% of the vote.
It was the same in the player ratings with Elliott well on top with a rating of 8.33 out of 10. Blake and Gudjonsson were the opposite way round to the voting poll. This time Blake was in second place with a rating of 7.98 whilst Gudjonsson was third with a rating of 7.90 out of 10.
The latest points, Elliott winning six with both Blake and Gudjonsson scoring three, have seen Elliott extend his lead at the top of the Player of the Year table to no fewer than eleven points from Robbie Blake, whilst Blake himself is eight points clear of third place.
