Errington and Woodhead back for cup tie

It's another case of going into the unknown against a team not from our league, but we will certainly fancy our chances having now won our last 13 games and facing a team that has won just four of their sixteen games this season in the North East section of the Youth Alliance League.

We won 6-1 at Preston in the first round and followed that up with a 3-1 home victory against Rotherham in round two. Notts County meanwhile have beaten Wrexham and Lincoln (2-1 and 3-1) to reach this stage.

We make two changes from the team that started against Ipswich a week ago in the FA Youth Cup. Ben Woodhead, who is over age for the FA Youth Cup, plays in goal instead of Josh Cook whilst Jack Errington will partner Tom Anderson at the back with Alex Coleman, a second half substitute at Preston for the reserves in midweek, on the bench.

That bench also includes Cameron Howieson. The New Zealander missed last week's game with a bout of chicken pox but has been cleared to return to the squad. Under-16 players Charlie Holt and Lewis Nuttall, who have both been awarded scholarships to start next season, make up the bench.

The Burnley team is: Ben Woodhead, Aryn Williams, Jack Errington, Tom Anderson, Luke Conlan, Alex Mullin, Archie Love, Steven Hewitt, Adam Evans, Shay McCartan, Jason Gilchrist. Subs: Josh Cook, Charlie Holt, Alex Coleman, Cameron Howieson, Lewis Nuttall.
