Youth Cup 4th round complete

Last updated : 20 January 2012 By Tony Scholes

Who says Nottingham Forest can't score goals? They had the biggest win of the round, beating Wigan Athletic 9-1 last night at the City Ground and Patrick Bamford must be the one to watch should we come up against them. He scored five of those nine and had assists for three of the other four.

No other team could come close to matching that but Fulham hit five at Peterborough and both Manchester City and West Ham scored four, against Swindon and Brighton respectively. They were the only teams to better our three goals against Ipswich with all the other winners scoring two or less.

The results from the fourth round are below along with the revised fifth round draw. Burnley are one of only three non-academies left in the competition alongside Premier League clubs Queens Park Rangers and Swansea City.
